THE STRUCTURE OF THE VORONEZH RUDGORMASH WAS PUT UNDER SURVEILLANCE DUE TO A DEBT OF 74 MILLION
The Arbitration Court of the Voronezh Region has introduced surveillance in the company "RGM_Zapchast". The company is part of the Rudgormash machine–building holding, associated with businessman Anatoly Chekmenev.
The decision to introduce surveillance was made at the request of the capital's Alerus society, the amount of debt owed to which is 74.5 million rubles. Sergey Domnin, representing the Union of Arbitration Managers "Creation", was approved for the role of interim manager. The court plans to hear his report on June 24, 2025.
Alerus filed an insolvency claim against the defendant in February last year. Prior to this, the courts of several instances issued verdicts, obliging RGM_Zapchast to pay the debt in the amount of 50.8 million rubles. It included the amount of loan obligations and accrued interest on the use. But by January 2025, the defendant had not repaid his debt.
The structure of the Rudgormash Group of companies appeared in Voronezh 12 years ago. The company specialized in the wholesale of operational materials. Svetlana Penina remains its sole owner and head. In 2023, the company with an authorized capital of 4.7 million earned 554 million in revenue, while recording a loss of 102 million.
It is worth noting that this is not the only problem of Rudgormash. A few months ago, the regional arbitration court had already declared the holding company's management company bankrupt. By mid-November 2024, its obligations to 14 creditors included in the register had crossed the 2.1 billion mark.
Thus, the debt situation within the holding company continues to deteriorate. Despite previous court decisions, the company was unable to fulfill its obligations to creditors, which led to the commencement of bankruptcy proceedings. It is expected that further proceedings in the arbitration court and the work of the manager will contribute to resolving this financial crisis.
