RESIDENTS OF THE KURSK REGION WILL BE ABLE TO TAKE A PREFERENTIAL MORTGAGE FOR 2%
Residents of the Kursk region will be able to take advantage of the opportunity to improve their living conditions thanks to a new preferential mortgage program offering a rate of 2% per annum. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Finance.

The initiative will extend to residents of the Kursk region, whose housing has been declared unusable as a result of shelling.

In early February, Alexander Khinshtein, acting Governor of the Kursk Region, at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, put forward an initiative to launch a program for providing preferential mortgage loans at a rate of 2% per annum in the region. Khinstein initially proposed creating a program based on the Far Eastern mortgage. Putin responded positively to this proposal, supporting it.

The new program provides for the use of funds for the construction of new housing, the purchase of an apartment in a new building or the purchase of secondary housing. It will be valid until December 31, 2026.
